Hegdinvst is seeking a high-calibre PR, Investor Relations & Communications professional to build and institutionalize the firm’s external narrative and investor engagement strategy.

This role also involves working closely with portfolio companies to help shape and elevate their public positioning, particularly as they scale towards institutional capital, private equity rounds, or IPO pathways.

The candidate will work directly with the Founder and play a critical role in building long-term brand equity and institutional trust, both for Hegdinvst and its investee companies

Key Responsibilities

1. Investor Relations (Primary Focus)

·        Lead communication with existing and prospective LPs

·        Design and standardize quarterly investor letters, updates and reporting decks

·        Manage fundraising communication pipeline

·        Coordinate due diligence materials, FAQs, and data rooms

·        Ensure proactive engagement with domestic and global institutional investors

·        Build CRM and structured investor communication calendar

2. Public Relations & Media Strategy – Hegdinvst

·        Develop Hegdinvst’s external brand narrative

·        Build relationships with financial journalists and media houses

·        Manage press releases, interviews, opinion pieces, and announcements

·        Position Founder as a thought leader in growth equity and capital markets

·        Monitor media coverage and reputation risk

3. Portfolio PR & Strategic Positioning

·        Work closely with investee companies to help shape their PR and communications strategy

·        Support founders in crafting institutional-quality messaging

·        Assist portfolio companies in:

o   Fundraise announcements

o   Growth milestone communication

o   Pre-IPO positioning

o   Investor presentations

·        Coordinate with external PR agencies engaged by portfolio companies

·        Provide strategic guidance during sensitive announcements or reputation risk situations

·        Help align portfolio narratives with long-term capital market positioning

5. Capital Markets Positioning

·        Interface with investment banks, advisors and ecosystem participants

·        Support pre-IPO and capital market visibility for portfolio companies

·        Coordinate communication during exits, IPOs or secondary transactions

Ideal Candidate Profile

·        2–4 years experience in:

o   Asset management / PE / VC IR

o   Investment banking communications

o   Financial PR

o   Capital markets media

·        Understanding of Indian capital markets

·        Experience working with growth-stage companies preferred

·        Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

·        Ability to translate complex investment theses into compelling narratives

·        High discretion and institutional maturity

·        Structured, process-driven and detail-oriented
